Built Around Community
Launchpad Early Learning Centre was created by Del and David, who share a long-standing commitment to supporting children and families within their local community.
Del has worked in Primary and Early Learning settings since 1994 and brings extensive experience in education and child development.
David has spent more than 25 years running a successful community-based business, Topline Tennis, where he has worked with thousands of local families across Melbourne’s north-east.
Together, they built Launchpad with a clear purpose. To create early learning centres where children feel supported, educators feel valued, and families feel confident in their childcare choice.
The Values That Guide Our Learning
Everything we do at Launchpad is guided by three principles that shape how educators support children each day.
Respect
Children deserve to feel heard and valued. Educators listen carefully to children’s ideas, acknowledge their feelings, and support them as individuals. When children feel respected, they develop a strong sense of belonging and confidence in who they are.
Resilience
Learning often involves trying something new, encountering challenges, and trying again. Educators support children through these moments with patience and encouragement. These early experiences help children develop persistence and emotional strength that supports them throughout school and life.
Readiness
School readiness is not about rushing children forward. It is about helping them develop the skills they need to feel capable and confident when the time comes. Communication, independence, curiosity, and emotional awareness all play a role. Through play-based learning and thoughtful guidance from educators, children gradually build these skills in ways that feel natural and meaningful.
A Message from the Owners
“Hi, I’m Della and my husband David and I would like to welcome you to our family owned and operated Early Learning Centres. We are excited to invite you to join our Launchpad tribe!I have several years of teaching experience in both Primary and Early Learning settings starting back in 1994 and David has run a successful tennis coaching business, Topline Tennis in the local community for over 25 years.
We are the immensely proud parents of 3 beautiful boys – Joshua, Lucas and Zachary and I think it would be fair to say that we’ve dedicated our lives to loving, nurturing and teaching children!
Launchpad is the realisation of a long-held dream to open Early Learning Centres that not only excel in teaching and inspiring young children, but also create a special community where Educators, families and their children can come together to support, encourage and help each other in these fast paced and often impersonal times. At Launchpad, we welcome your family into our family and look forward to sharing lots of laughter, love and learning together.

Our Centres
Launchpad Early Learning Centre operates two services across Melbourne’s north-east. Each centre provides a welcoming learning environment where children are supported by experienced educators and consistent daily routines.
Families are encouraged to visit the centre closest to them to experience the environment and meet the team. The best way to understand the Launchpad community is to experience it in person. We welcome families to visit the centre, meet our educators, and see how children learn and play throughout the day.
