Safe To Grow. Safe To Be
At Launchpad Early Learning, the safety and wellbeing of every child in our care is not just a priority — it’s our foundation.
We know that families entrust us with their most precious little ones, and we take that responsibility to heart every single day.
Leadership Built on Care
Our management team is made up of passionate mothers and aunties who bring a deep sense of care, intuition, and personal experience into everything we do.
Their leadership ensures that the highest standards are upheld across all our services, creating a culture where safety, trust, and consistency are deeply embedded.
Purpose-Built for Safety
From day one, safety has been at the core of our purpose-built centres.
Owners Della and David designed our facilities with intention — creating light-filled rooms, open lines of sight, and environments that are both welcoming and secure.
Our centres are equipped with CCTV throughout, providing peace of mind for families and accountability across all areas of operation.
Beyond Physical Safety
We go beyond physical safety. At each Launchpad service, we have appointed dedicated Child Safety Standards Officers to ensure we consistently meet all 11 Child Safety Standards.
Every month, we focus on child safety themes through our collaborative Child Safety Floor Books, incorporating the voices of educators, children, and families alike.
It’s one of the many ways we keep safety front of mind for everyone in our community.
Our team engages in yearly Child safety professional development sessions with criminal psychologist Helen Haydock to upskill & empower our team.
Living Policies and Clear Standards
Our HR Manager, Management Team, and Operations Manager work collaboratively to regularly evaluate and review all of our service policies — ensuring that safety remains a living, evolving priority.
These reviews allow us to adapt to changes in legislation, best practices, and community needs, while upholding the highest standards of care.
To ensure clarity and accountability across our services, we have a clearly communicated Code of Conduct.
This is prominently displayed within our centres, and every family and educator receive a copy upon enrolment
and commencement. This shared understanding helps create a culture of respect, responsibility, and safety.

Visible Accountability
To ensure clear visibility and accountability, all staff members wear lanyards displaying their Working with Children Checks at all times.
This simple yet effective measure allows families, visitors, and team members to easily identify authorised personnel and reinforces our strong culture of transparency and safety.
Digital Safety Matters
Digital safety is just as important. Staff personal devices — including phones and smart watches — are not permitted in children’s learning spaces.
This policy ensures our educators are fully present and focused, and children’s privacy is always protected.
Our service iPad are signed in and out by staff members to ensure accountability, images are deleted monthly and not saved to iCloud to ensure privacy is maintained.
Quality People, Quality Care
Our commitment to safety extends to our people, too.
We have a rigorous recruitment and vetting process in place, including thorough reference checks, National Police Checks, and Working with Children Checks for all employees.
Importantly, we have a no agency staff policy — instead, we lean on our sister services for trusted support, maintaining familiarity and continuity for our children.
We have employed a Human Resources manager to oversee recruitment, reference checks & consistent performance management to ensure high quality care is maintained across our 3 services.
At Launchpad, we believe that when children feel safe, they thrive.
That’s why we’ve built a culture where safety isn’t just a checklist — it’s a lived value, embedded in everything we do.
At Launchpad Early Learning, safety matters. Always.
